In order to operate as a Food Safety Supervisor within New South Wales you require a certificate from the NSW Food Authority. A NSW Food Authority certificate will be added at the checkout if you live in NSW, at an additional total cost of $30 (which is the price the government charges to provide the certificate). As part of your assessment requirements, you will be required to provide us with a certified copy of your certificate for the unit ‘SITXFSA001 – Use hygienic practices for food safety’. There is a NSW government requirement that you must have completed the Level 1 course with a NSW approved provider within the last 5 years.
